It's Bigger Than Basketball" – A Philosophy Built on Strategy and Mentorship
Coach Gipson founded FullCourt because he saw a gap in how youth organizations were being run and the direction they were headed. He wanted to create a space where young athletes could develop not just their skills in basketball but also the strategic thinking necessary to navigate life beyond the court.
Inspired by the strategic nature of chess, FullCourt instills in its athletes the importance of planning, decision-making, and perseverance—values that resonate far beyond sports. As players learn to make quick, calculated moves on the court, they’re also learning to apply those same skills to real-life situations, whether in school, family, or their future careers.
Coach Gipson is more than a coach—he is a mentor, committed to shaping young people into leaders both in and out of the game.

Meet the coaches
Coach Gipson
Coach Gipson is a passionate coach who pours into the next generation.
Some of Coach Gipson’s accomplishments include being named Division II Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-American. He won the NJCAA Division II 2012 National Championship.
Coach Gipson has been training athletes for the past five years through private one on one training and group sessions.
His passion for youth development on and off the court contributes to the elevation of the game. It's bigger than basketball!
Coach Ivory
Coach Ivory brings over 13 years of experience as a youth sports commissioner and head coach in both basketball and football, significantly contributing to the development of young athletes. He has played a crucial role in designing, implementing, and advancing sports development programs for athletes across various school districts, including Denton, Prosper, Lake Dallas, The Colony, Little Elm, and more. In addition to overseeing comprehensive basketball and football development programs that prepare players for high school and competitive tournament play, Coach Ivory is dedicated to providing every athlete—regardless of skill level or economic background—with the opportunity to grow, challenge themselves, and engage in the rigors of high-level competition.
Coach White
Coach White is a passionate and dedicated basketball coach committed to helping young players reach their full potential on and off the court. With a strong belief in the power of sports to shape character and foster personal growth, He brings both energy and compassion to the coaching staff. His coaching philosophy focuses on developing players' skills while also nurturing their confidence and mindset.
Coach White will work closely with each individual player to develop their technical abilities, while also emphasizing the importance of hard work, perseverance, and teamwork. He strives to create a positive, supportive environment where players feel empowered to take their game to the next level.

The King's Varsity AAU Basketball Team represents the highest level of competition for athletes who demonstrate elite skills, basketball IQ, and sportsmanship. To earn a spot on this team, players must show exceptional in-game strategy, with a deep understanding of both offensive and defensive systems and the ability to make smart decisions under pressure. Ball handling is a key component, and players are expected to exhibit mastery of dribbling, footwork, and control to navigate through defenses with precision. Above all, players must embody outstanding sportsmanship, representing the team with respect, integrity, and leadership both on and off the court. The King's team is dedicated to developing athletes who are not only skilled but also committed to their personal growth and team success, aspiring to compete against the highest levels of competition.

The Knights AAU Basketball Team represents our Junior Varsity program, where players are expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of the game, exceptional skill development, and the ability to work effectively as a team player. Athletes on the Knights team display a commitment to growth and improvement, and many advance to our Varsity program through consistent hard work, dedication, and a passion for the game.

The Rooks AAU Basketball Team serves as an excellent entry-level program, focusing on local competition while fostering the growth of each athlete’s game. Emphasis is placed on mastering the fundamentals of basketball, as a strong foundation is essential for future success. From there, we build on key areas such as in-game strategy and advanced ball handling. The Rooksare a stepping stone for athletes who are determined to advance to the next level and contribute to the success of the AAU program .
